A new website is helping people donate to some of the neediest people around the world.
Betterplace.org allows people to donate directly to specific projects rather than going through established charities which can have significant overheads.
Al Jazeera’s Andrew Simmons reports from an orphanage in Lwala, in Western Kenya, that has been a beneficiary of Betterplace.
