although i do like assassins creed i do understand his points it is absurd that most of these indie games get because there generous and care for the average gamer and that ive gambled that $60 hoping for a good game and have found more good games in the indie world and its a shame that theyre talent goes to waste

got the special edition and guide, like $100
played it for 4 hours and havnt touched it since
I told myself i wasnt going to do that again after FFXII but I DID

SHIT game
good concept =\= good game
we need new concepts and types of games, and maybe AC2 will be okay, but unlike my friends who ALWAYS buy the latest and greatest games, I havent got one in a while. Modern gaming is uninspired and sucks ass

Thats Not an opinion that’s just him denying the Fact that Assasins creed was a very successful game and that it has many fans and that its sequel is anticipated by lots of Gamers…

He could say that he didn’t like the game..that’s ok

and people want sequel because the First game ended with a cliff hanger…
and A lot of tv shows like lost End with a cliff hanger…
And Lost is one of the most popular and successful..
I want to see what happens and i loved the game play in the first..
And assassins creed is meant to be a trilogy..
the third is about a ninja…HUH
i will be playing that…Not these gay flash games

Best games ever? One of your favourite games ever, fine. But best? Really? Justify this.

High ratings doesn’t equal good, necessarily. It means popular, which is sometimes justified, sometimes not. It can also mean bribery, which unfortunately is still a problem in the industry.

As for fans that were dying to get a sequel because of the plot…how could an ending that make anybody want more?

It IS an opinion. And define “successful”. Usually, one would define it as accomplishing the intended goal; so, if the intended goal for AC was to make lots of money, then yes, I suppose it was successful. If the goal was to make a GOOD game…well, yes, that’s debateable, but it’s also not really the point.

And he didn’t say that nobody wants a sequel (if he did, I’m sure it was hyperbole), he said it’s game that nobody knows will be good or not.
