This charity aims to alleviate poverty in Africa and South Asia, through peer education. I am going to work with them for 8 months from January 2008. I will be living in a village in rural Tanzania, teamed up with a national volunteer, teaching in a school and arranging local events and HIV/AIDS awareness days. This creates a sustainable education and awareness culture in the village.

Shaw High School Volleyball Booster Club (nonprofit), Columbus, GA. The school budget allots $500 per season. This is not enough to buy 20 balls, 4 libero uniforms, volleyball camp fees ($3500), and buses and fees for state-wide tournaments. More information will be provided if you would like to help.
