What companies will donate items to schools?

I am a high school teacher and I’m looking to find some companies that might donate an item for a fundraiser. Because of budget cuts we don’t have any money for after school activities. We are going to try and get items and hold a raffle. The kids will donate money for raffle tickets to win the donated items. Any ideas on companies that are generous and willing to donate to schools?

I own a sign company and I have donated things like custom made banners, magnets, and yard stands. Try your local sign companies.

Hit a lot of the smaller businesses they usually have an owner or manager on site that can say yes or no. Bigger companies have to go through boards.

Also, when you go into a business try and think of a suggestion that their business can donate. For example, a dog grooming business you might ask them to donate a free wash or cut. A cake place a free birthday cake. Sometimes you catch people off guard and they may not know what you are looking for. I know a lot of small business owners that would not mind donating, but sometimes don’t know where or what. Good Luck.
