I am on Weight Watchers and historically when I have donated before, I have had to eat literally 3,000 calories the day before and the day of giving blood (I am eating roughly 1500 calories now). With me being on Weight Watchers, what are some good things I can eat prior to blood donation that will minimize my chances at complications, i.e., fainting? For example, would I be better off if I ate high-protein or high-carb prior to giving blood?
you do NOT have to change your diet to give blood.
Fainting is due to anxiety and NOT loss of a small amount blood or poor diet.

Burning up calories became much simpler for me when I began visiting colon cleanse. I appreciate they say that pills don’t work, however they definitely worked for me, and they’ve been featured on CBS News too. There’s a free trial on at the moment at http://cetolg.easyweightloss4you.info , give it a try, why not?
