You heard it here first: Some of the finalists visited Headley Court on Mon 20 Oct 2008 to show their support for injured British Soldiers.
Here is a small clip of them singing the chorus of their charity song “Hero”, with donations going to Help for Heroes. This was a very “off the cuff” performance but they performed it really well. Overall a really good night. Thanks

In Theatres November 6, 2009 – La Donation (The Legacy) – Dr. Rainville, an aging country doctor with a deep attachment to his patients, is about to retire and is looking for a successor. One deserving family will get the surprise of their life as the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (EM:HE) team comes knocking on their door to inform them of the news. While the name of the family and the location of the site cannot be released until January 7, 2010, the project is underway and the wheels are already in motion for this intense one-week construction project that will result in putting this worthy family into the dream home of a lifetime.

Make sure your kindness isn’t taken for granted.
Do your research.
My husband and I trust our donations to Doctors Without Borders.
They have high ratings due to their ethical practices with donation money.

They were in Haiti BEFORE the earthquake providing much
needed care to people.
Three of their hospitals were destroyed in Haiti during this earthquake.
So before you follow everyone else and text money to large organizations,
do your research.
Some organizations have records of corruption and mismanagement of donation money.
i.e. 9/11, Katrina, etc.
How come Red Cross is only pledging $1 million dollars to Haiti when they’ve collected OVER $3 million these past few days? Really WHY?
They do this all the time. Even though you *think* you are donating to Haiti, you’re REALLY helping
their general fund. It’s *legal* but it is wrong!
It’s a shame. But it has happened MORE than once.
The people in Haiti need our help.
